Superman

This movie is exactly what we needed at a time like this in history. Bright, funny, just corny enough to be tolerable. Gunn changed my opinion on the superhero franchise.  Kent was a well written character with the people and world around him falling nicely into place.  I’m so used to every hero being hardened and angry, having someone with such love in their heart was a nice change of pace.  Unfortunately combat scenes (besides Terrific’s) often lost my attention and were predictable.   Lois was better written then I anticipated but it seemed as if they didn’t have a clear idea of her personality, she swapped between quirked up white girl and avoidant attachment gf too much to really solidify her as a real person. Overall very enjoyable movie.
