ill need many many rewatches to understand this one. a film about life.

twin peaks canon

might be my favourite film? I'm not too sure yet tbh. somehow hits even harder on a rewatch after seeing the return. Lynches style in this is like nothing else, taking these abstract scenes which make no sense yet somehow making them so powerful with so much emotion behind it. also Sheryl lees performance in this is something special I don't understand how it didn't win anything. makes it so much more tragic and real I also appreciated the first 30 so much more and it honestly feels straight out of the return with Gordon and Albert. also Philip Jefferies. chet Desmond is the most underrated character he really carries this section. introducing Judy as well very crypticly I could not imagine waiting 25 years to figure out what it meant. Just overall such a powerful, harrowing watch that still leaves so much room for mystery and answers I'm sure I'll return to this again

entertaining tbf
