Silenced

……💔 It takes immense guts to portray this ugly of a truth on screen, honestly and truthfully. The more I watch South Korean films, the more I get introduced to the corruption and incompetence of the justice , law enforcement authorities and the likes but films like these are very crucial for society, for us to keep questioning the ones in power and behind the facade of bullshit religious practices. Humanity will always be compromised with power and money in most cases. It also makes me reflect upon the sad reality of my own country, no one has the guts to not dramatize and produce a true to life documentation of the incidents like RG Kar, what happened to the ones involved? The offenders faced a similar fate in many other cases in India as well, but we must make shitfuck propaganda driven movies like the Taj Story, even in films like Kerala Story, Kashmir & Bengal files which covers gravely serious injustices, its very very evident of how immature, lazy, unresearched, and dramatized take it sides with, even the ones with 0 prior knowledge of the incidents would see through them. It is really shameful tbh. You know they changed the laws after this film in S. Korea, so don’t tell me films don’t drive culture and impact. It was a beautiful film in itself which made them collectively do that.
