Gosh it was beautiful... Like literally one of the most beautiful suspense thriller ever watched (idk I just feel that maybe because I just finished watching it). It really was phenomenal, well it did overdo in bits and pieces but the structured and planned unfolding and the motive behind such monstrous or rather psychotic intent is quite understandable to say the least.
So, the plot is basically making the audience understand and appreciate the unmatched efforts elite Chefs put and the toll it takes on their life. It's about collecting the rotten fragments of the society, pointing out what's wrong and how evil humans can be in their ignorance or even pretentious in certain circumstances, it manages to present a scenario wherein the audience (I can really speak for myself as I felt it was for me right there) would feel judged for being pretentious in just knowing about the craft without the ability to contribute in it which as per the Chef Mr. Slowik "drains the mystery off the art".
Is it realistic what he pulled off like suicide of the entire kitchen staff and convincing them to murder people who definitely are what's everything wrong about the society from his standpoint? No... but I get the point and yes it was satisfying watching douchebag rich pretentious fucks kicked in the gut.
