Dune: Part Two

Holy fuck. What do you even say? An expertly, with fine treading, crafted film. Though most scenes are “plagued” with sand, Denis Villeneuve manages to make each landscape enthralling. This is the whole embodiment of sci-fi. The embodiment of film itself. Incredible and surprising performances are plastered all over this film. Austin Butler continues to show his outstanding acting, now playing, and mastering, a raging psychopath. Timothée Chalamet crawls through my doubt of his acting skills, and proves he is worth the main role in the franchise of the decade. The visuals, carried over and enhanced from the first, are breathtaking and are parred with a soundtrack that, anywhere from calmly to berserk, floats like a surge of power through the entirety of the film. A prodigious entry in the Dune franchise that keeps me on the edge of the seat for more Dune. I will binge the books and I will endorse the game. Oh man is this a great film.
