Timothy Dalton is such a good Mr. Rochester. I TOO would like him to call me his little pale mustard seed. Cinematography is bad. Night scenes are just straight up unwatchable and it’s a VICTORIAN story. You also get this feeling that the director was so very strict on the actors hitting all their blocking. Sometimes Timothy Dalton will strike a pose in a wider shot and he’ll just FREEZE in it. He won’t move his neck sometimes. It’s so strange.  Watch if you’d like an accurate adaptation some nice scenery and when I say scenery I mean Timothy Dalton.
