AftersunEverett9.7· December 27, 2024FollowAs with the other movies in my top four as of current,(besides raging bull) all of them have a song to them that really makes scenes great. Lala land has mia and sebs theme and her has song on the beach. While those are original compositions, after sun uses a song very close to me in probably my favorite scene of all time. I’m talking about the second to last scene using under pressure by queen and David Bowie. It’s always been one of my dad’s favorite songs, and he would play it all the time. And it is so masterfully used in this dance scene I can’t even describe it. All the actors do amazing, especially the child actor for Sophie. The more you dig into this movie the more you get out of it. The struggles that calling goes through to be perfect is so heartbreaking and the two leads have great chemistry. If you watch this masterpiece afterwards watch a review to fully understand. Would recommend for the end scene alone. Perfect movie👌CommentsSign in to react and join the conversation.Sign inGet the app
