Raging BullEverett8.9· December 27, 2024FollowIt is so amazing what Scorsese managed to do with this real dude. Showing the impactful effects of toxic masculinity that Jake Lamotta shows throughout but then doing a complete one-eighty with his character in the end, and just showing how self destructive he truly was and how fragile he was. The black and white was such a great choice and all the boxing scenes are fantastic. It’s a given saying Robert dinero killed it, but so did Joe Pesci. Final thoughts, it permanently changed my thoughts on those kinds of men and celebrities in general. Great movie🙌CommentsSign in to react and join the conversation.Sign inGet the app
