Blade Runner 2049

The cinematography has a poetic quality that weighs on every frame. They’ve managed to delicately preserve the iconic aesthetic of Blade Runner. The ending is absolutely brutal. And the performance of Harrison Ford alongside Ryan Gosling is sublime. Combined with a story that is intelligently and carefully written, it all comes together to create a truly great film. Highly recommended — it’s a sequel that truly lives up to the legacy of the original.
