Annihilation

Natalie Portman is, as always, serving looks and brains. And everyone else is just trying not to get mutated into something wild. Honestly, the visuals alone are worth it. My brain felt like it was doing gymnastics tryna figure out what was even happening, but in the best way. There's this one scene with a bear that will legit haunt my dreams, but also, it was kinda iconic? And the ending? Chef's kiss. No spoilers, but let's just say it left me questioning everything. So yeah, if you're into existential dread served with a side of stunning, terrifying CGI, this one's for you. Definitely not a chill movie night, but 10/10 would recommend for the what just happened?! factor.
