i didn’t really get scared watching this in the middle of the day. i was expecting a bunch of jumpscares, but it’s not that kind of horror — it’s more about the substance and quality. but man, the fear hit me later at night when I was trying to sleep. out of nowhere i’d get these eerie thoughts, like seeing people on my ceiling or hearing someone click their tongue. creepy as hell, but honestly, it weirdly helped me fall asleep faster. so thanks for the free sleep aid, Ari Aster.
