I only watched this film cause it was part of my assignment on a subject that has nothing to do with film but a subject about ethics and morality. My expectations on this film was low, that was until I saw the cast, that's when I became interested. I was relieved when the pacing was so fast at the start but it was too fast. The film started with the the rape without even showing us anythig about the little girl, this makes it harder for us to have empathy, feelings or even a sense of loss when she was harassed. Mathew's performance was good but it could've been better. The lart where he makes his final speech at the courtroom relied too much on his performance only, no flashbacks were used, no noise, not even a background music, it was dead silent, and the camera focused on Mathew almost the whole time.

Absolutely cinema, the best one out of yhe franchise in my opinion, even better than the previous one. I really like the plot and the story of the movie, a lot of character development and conflicts between all of them, except for Spike's dad. I really wished he was in this film so bad so that there are more character interactions and conflicts that can be made with them but i guess that's reserved for future projects. I'm already expecting the audience to kind of hate this film cause of it's weirdness on the 3rd act but I kinda liked it. I liked the comedy of Kelson trying to act like satan and the fact that Jimmy was spitting straight bs to his "fingers" and they believed it, pure comedy. But it did kind of lose its horror and zombie aspect, there are almost zero zombie attacks that happened in the movie, but it's fine for me because it offered so much weight and development on the characters, I mean even the alpha zombie had a cool story and arc (I hope Samson stays safe wherever he is). The cameo of Cillian Murphy was definitely my favourite part and then when the original 28 theme started playing and then Spike and Kellie was about to be helped by Jim I was cheering so hard. Great movie, I don't care what anyone says, it's the best movie in the 28 franchise.
