Barbarian

Wow, what a pleasant surprise! I'm not normally a fan of more recent horror films, but Barbarian knocked it out of the park. I, in a million years, could not predict what was going to happen, at any point in the film. The mix of comedy and horror was one of the best I have ever seen. Honestly, one of the few best films of the decade. Also featuring perfectly timed musical cues by Donovan (one of my favorites) and The Ronettes (also one of my favorites). This is the kind of movie that gets me excited about modern film-making!
