Frankenstein

“Perhaps, I thought, this was the way of the world. It would hunt you and kill you just for being who you are.” Frankenstein is an absolute masterpiece. I do not say that lightly. I could not pick out one single flaw of this movie. The movie was bound to be a powerhouse due to the actors that were involved. This movie has some of the most immersive environment building I’ve ever seen in a movie down to the last little detail. I loved the dynamic between Elizabeth and the “creature”. Their scenes together were so well made and felt very natural, seeing how she was the only one who treated him like a real human and valued him. It was just beautiful. This movie was amazing but Jacob elordi pushed it over the top for me. I’ve always thought he was a great actor but his range is far beyond what we’ve seen before. His vulnerability in this role is amazing. I think this role will push him farther than he’s gone before and really get him out there (in the industry). I hope to see him in other things of this scale. I have no other words besides masterpiece to describe this movie.
