another film that makes me wonder how I managed to go so long without seeing it. it feels real. like. it feels like Korine just asked his bunch of stoned friends to come and film them (something very similar to Cassavetes or David Lynch). I think US allows that more than any country. and then there are all those piles of worthless objects, and all that worthless brutality, and that extraordinary use of super-8 film. I'm in love with this film. it makes you love a bunch of degenerates and there's no predation, no wallowing. it's just. like that.
