Deconstructing Harry
this movie is a total mess, in the best way possible. harry is an absolute disaster of a person, and the film leans all the way into his selfish, neurotic chaos. It’s funny, dark, and unapologetically cynical, jumping between reality and fiction in a way that keeps you guessing.the disjointed structure somehow makes it even better, like you’re inside harry’s scrambled brain. the surreal moments are ridiculous and brilliant, and the humor is sharp enough to cut. simply perfect.a brutally funny look at how art and life collide and how one man ruins everything in the process
