I don't know what to make of this. The first hour is entertaining, but it gets boring seeing people killed in a way that show a thirst for torture in the protagonist, that surpasses necessity ("he came for permission" - for permission to really get freaky I guess), when the style of direction is in no way original, rather boring. In the end I felt almost sorry for the bad guys. Denzel is strong, though.

Maybe I wasn't in the right mood for an interstellar buddy-movie, but Rocky did nothing for me and the cheese was just too thick. Sandra Hüller singing Karaoke seems to convince many, but it was a poor copy of her scene in Toni Erdmann. I always succumb to he charms of Ryan Gosling though...
