F1
I went in with the expectation that this was gonna be a fun summer blockbuster that wouldn’t exactly be an award winning contender, but I walked away pleasantly surprised with the quality of this film. The camerawork for the racing sequences was unbelievable. Pitt and Bardem have phenomenal chemistry, Damson Idris has star level potential, and Kosinski has truly mastered the art of making a blockbuster. There will be plenty of F1 traditionalists that will complain with a lot of the characteristics of some of the racing scenes and as an F1 fan myself, I would say there is plenty of things that lack realism but the essence of the sport is still captured quite well.
All i ask is PLEASE give Toto Wolff his academy award for best supporting actor
