Really, really, really better then i expected. I mean, I knew it won an Oscar, and this movie was in my watchlist for ages, and today it was its day. It was so honest, so clear, and it was a great depiction of the world during WW2, especially UK, of course. Benedict Cumberbatch was spot on, so into the part, that some parts, like the night when Christopher finally works, or the last scene when Turing and Joan have a really good chemistry, that has been so heartbreaking. The theme of the homesexuality is recourrent, called a lot of times, but it was one of the main focuses of the story, and it was important for picture what it felt like 80ish years ago and how brutal they were with people, despite how useful, smart or important they were. I didn’t connected this was a true story until the end of the movie, when my brain recalled the turing test, even if it actually felt so real for the whole movie. Def to watch at least once.

This movie is soo damn good. I can’t believe what i was seeing, there were unexpected plot twists anywhere. I suffered for the last hour, almost tearing up. i kinda eish they both would had gone back on their own planets and just found a way to keep in touch, but i understand and i like this ending anyway cause it’s so unique, especially after watching the all movie believing he was gonna die for one reason or another, instead they preserve their friendship and save both their planets together, learning how to communicate and live together. such a masterpiece, i think i’ll watch it again soon.

THIS WAS SO GREAT. I CAN’T BELIEVE ALL THE DRAMA THAT SOCIALS CREATED ABOUT THIS MOVIE. Elena being black was not a problem, since was shown for like 5 minutes in the 3 hours, nor the not historically-accurated costumes. I swear no one will notice it, bring caught up in all the story. Three hours flown like time didn’t really existed. Imax 70 mm, basic imax, or normal theaters, the photography, colors and direction of this movie is so good it’ll leave you amazed, almost will want to cry. The cast, from Anne Hathaway to Tom Holland, from Robert Pattinson to Matt Damon, to the little cameos of Zendaya were all spot on, so studied. And to be honest, personally, i loved how Nolan preferred to do everything handmade and use as less as possible cgi, making the movie incredible. Really nothing to say, best movie of the month, and certainly even one of the best movies i’ve ever seen.
