Storyline:
Gorgeous story with so many different points. I could go on and on about the impact this movie made. The three Oscars it got back in 2017 were DESERVED. Honestly, little advice, this movie isn't something to watch on a random Sunday night.
Cinematography:
The color choices were perfect. That final scene where his skin looks blue in the night in front of the sea? That was ground breaking. Every scene is beautifully placed and it's something so artistically pleasing to look at. Amazing.
Performance:
Flawless. The moments of silence, the nods, the body language... It's a movie with little action, so it was necessary for the actors to be phenomenal for it to work, and damn they did that well. It's crazy how much each movement talked without needing any word at all.
Personal thoughts:
I like that it wasn't exactly a love story, and Chiron did get to accept himself throughout the movie, but that he also got to have an happy ending and get love too. Cause usually in those kind of storylines, there's always something missing.
