Defending Jacob
this is my first experience watching Apple TV shows and I want to say that it's a different experience.
I was curious from start to finish, swallowed series after series and couldn't stop. sadly the last episode destroys the strong momentum the show had a bit. to be honest, I’m not happy with the way it ends. it's beautiful on the technical side, it's very cleverly made. I cried a few times, I don't even know why. I haven't read the book yet, but that didn't stop me from fully enjoying the series; I want to note that the ending in the book is significantly changed, it is more tragic than in the series. even though I'm disgusted by the character Jacob. it causes very different, I would note, opposite feelings. on the one hand, you feel sorry for him, he is fourteen years old boy and accused of committing a murder that he did not commit, he is lonely, he is afraid, but he is a terrible person.
anyways, watch the series and draw your own conclusions! just be prepared that it will not serve you with every answer you‘re desperately waiting for.
