i think it’s one of those films that’s undeniable in cinematography, the messaging is provocative but i’m trying to not be swayed by an incredible ending. the motif of time to me is pretty much only relevant at one point, a lot of the plot and characters are convenient, the film forces you to feel bad for these characters because of the situation they’re in - and you do but i don’t care too heavily for them until the end when there’s something likeable about their friendship. a lot of the mid section feels bloated, a lot of the cinematography is there for cinematographies sake and doesn't really benefit the plot and sometimes takes me out of the film because i notice it soo much. it’s a good film, but i don’t think it’s a great film it’s a style i don’t vibe with but i know a lot of people do it’s a story i feel forced to care for but everyone’s a bit shit with little redeeming qualities
