this may be recency bias but I think this is the best live action spiderman movie. finally a tom holland movie that feels like a spiderman movie and not just an mcu one. SPOILERS Ned 😭 remembers 😭 their 😭 handshake 😭

I watched this illegally months ago, it was an ok movie. The animation is amazing and I loved aang’s character especially, but the writing was not great and the story was really predictable. The gaang deserved better; they come across one OP airbender and suddenly forgot all their skills?? And justice for suki, she deserved at least a shoutout.

I should not have cried as much as I did. I blame hormones.

reviving my letterboxd account just to say that this is my new favorite movie. it's visually stunning, funny, emotional, and such a good adaptation of the book. I will never ever shut up about this.
