Bro just wanted to play the piano 😭😭😭 Man this show got it all and more. Such a complex and layered narrative. Very strong themes that’s explored really well, the episodes are considerably longer than most anime’s, which drags out the pacing and creates a unique tone for each episode. The tone is also very serious, none of the characters are too over-the-top, there’s a strong sense of realism and the story structure makes it very engaging and easy-to-follow. I really liked this saw the two first episodes a while back but man I’m glad I picked this up  Overall, Give me a near-future where robots are on the brink of sentience, pair that with a gripping neo-noir style mystery. Add a dash of existentialism, and you might just have one of the best settings in fiction. Idc how clichéd and trope-y it gets, 9 times out of 10 it works. Highly recommend!
