a lot of people say this is the weakest out of the trilogy but none of them are weak, all of them are equally great. but it is true there wasn't enough batman in this film, but it's okay in a way cause it made sense. bruce wayne deserved the ending he got, saving gotham and settling down to find peace. but christopher nolan really did a fantastic job on the best superhero trilogy ever.

hands down, one of the greatest depictions of war put into a great film. the cinematography is stunning. using photo cameras to capture war. i feel like this movie is underrated a bit because people wanted more information about what's happening to the US, or more characters, but this film works just fine without explaining any other factions. if the main characters were military soldiers instead of journalists, it would just be one of the same old war films. this film stands out. honestly i feel like the only person who didn't like jessie that much, she's okay til mid runtime then she gets annoying. plus i obviously think it's her fault lee died, why did she just stand there? but also lee didn't lay down with her, she just stood there also so it's really both of their faults. realistically, if our president runs and wins for a third term or drives the country crazy to its last nerve, he might have the same outcome coming to this film's president, they're very much alike.

when i saw cillian murphy in the first two batman films, i was not attracted. HE IS FINE IN THIS FILM. it's probably the hair. the concept of inception and the explanation was very confusing. during the process and after their plan, i understood it. the ambiguous ending was pissing me off, was he in a dream? was he in reality? the top wasn't even his relic it was his wedding ring, now that was obvious. i was going to say hot take, but this isn't a hot take at all. ellen page IS NOW elliot page and end of conversation. still a really good film, applause.
