fuck this film wrecked me. a beautiful character portrait of childhood and grief. mostly subtle, but so effective and emotional. visually stunning and cohesive, such a good use of color in storytelling. and damn that kid can act 😭 a new all-time favorite. this was my kind of movie and moved me in a very personal way because of the subject matter :’)
