Coach Carter

So inspirational man. Samuel L. Jackson is so great in this role. It's crazy how most of this movie is practice, but it works so well. Some of the non-basketball stuff, like the pregnancy, isn't great, but everything to do with basketball is near-perfect. Also gets a little repetitive, and it would have helped if it were shorter. "Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure." I mean, that speech is just perfect. 2005 || Basketball
