Still holds up after rewatching for the 3rd time it never gets old the cinematography perfect the storytelling amazing the ending perfect if you haven’t seen this masterpiece I honestly don’t know what’s stopping you besides its long running time

Hands down best Godzilla movie I’ve ever seen, Godzilla is a metaphor for the atomic bomb this is the first one I’ve seen that actually gave the feeling of that atomic bomb and the after math it caused on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, I watched the original Japanese version not English dub and I can say the emotion was there, such passionate performances by the main character and his wife. This movie gets you invested into the main character and Godzilla journey as they both grow very early on and it tackles the emotionally distraught feelings I’m sure every kamikaze pilot faced with the harsh conflicting ideas you have to either die serving your country or survive to see your family.

Rewatched with my fiancé just cause and I forgot the godfather of parody movies (Leslie Nelson) was in this so amazing so funny slapstick horror parody i definitely recommend smoking or drinking and watching with some friends who don’t mind some dark humor

Just watched after reluctantly passing on it for years because I thought it couldn’t live up to the mad max name that fury road set in place. Fury road did an amazing job of capturing the feeling of the original mad max while still creating a defining story for Tom hardy and his new sage, in my option I thought the choice to make a prequel this fast on a side character using a list actors like Chris hemsworth and Anya Taylor joy was gonna be their downfall but I stand happily corrected on all points. The cinematography was beautiful not to mention perfect pacing and storytelling with enough references to fury road to keep you hooked and looking for the next one. I’m honestly super happy with it and would recommend anyone who was a fan of fury road to definitely check it out.
