Just not a good horror movie at all in my opinion. They did a great job building this movie up before release and even in the first half of the film. It honestly wasn’t even scary at all and was a lot of waiting around for a very disappointing ending and such. I really wish these film directors and companies would go back to the classic slasher films they used to make. There’s a reason people still dress up as Michael Myers and Jason Vorhees for Halloween but you don’t see anyone dressing up as these stupid characters they have in horror movies nowadays. And I would say it’s because most of these movies don’t even have a single iconic villain or character that people will remember. They seem to be trying to do too much with these horror movies nowadays. Sorry I went on a bit of a rant here but man it’s so frustrating to see them slowly ruining one of the best genres of movies.

Honestly I think this was a great way to wrap up this amazing horror series. I would say it was the least scary of the conjuring movies, but there were still those fear elements and jumpscares that make the conjuring iconic. I will definitely be sad to see one of the best horror series go, especially in an age where nobody can seem to make a decent horror film anymore.

Just an absolute classic. Nostalgia might make me rate this higher than it should be but idc these were my favorites growing up.
