Bright Young Things
Oh god, oh jesus, Michael Sheen is so handsome, I don't care what age he's when he's acting in something, and how dare he make me cry. I swear that man has the saddest eyes that can immediately make me cry, especially when he's playing a queer character. It's hard not to relate to him when you're a part of that community.
Before starting this movie, I did know David Tennant was acting in it, but I was shocked when I saw him. He looks so different than any of his other roles, not to say I didn't find him still very handsome.
For my personal gripes about the movie, I don't think the main couple should have ended up together like they did, or maybe I didn't like Nina a whole lot. The main plot was fine, I just found it annoying that everyone but the main couple got a bad ending—suicide, mental hospital, being forced to flee your country. Maybe it just felt unfair.
