The Hunt

Jesus Christ, I mean I knew I was going into a hard watch, but fuck. This seriously hit me like a wrecking ball. A whole man’s reputation tarnished by a single accusation that ended up spreading like wildfire. Isolating him and being seen as an embarrassment, contaminating, and a monster. Even after Lucas was proven innocent, suspicion and doubt still linger within the town and throughout the rest of his life will always carry the stain of the false accusation, the community’s trust can never fully be restored, and he will never feel entirely safe ever again. Incredible film with incredible performances.
