Stand by Me
The best coming age film I’ve ever seen. It shows the best years of your life (childhood) and the pain of growing up. I think the scene where everyone just kind of leaves and moves on was the most powerful. It showed the way everyone is forced to move on is devastating, yet realistic. The performances are incredible, the emotion is crazily authentic, and the characters basically fall out of the screen, the realism is impeccable. The dramatic tension is one of the best parts. The characters are some of the best I’ve ever seen. I don’t really like books, but this REALLY made me wanna read “the body”.
This film is tremendous, one of the best I’ve ever seen.
Would recommend to anyone.
