Nope
One thing Jordan peele’s gonna do is make a fucking good horror film that is so original and I did I already say so fucking good. The entire concept was amazingly executed being a take on peoples addictions to watching. The shots are gorgeous especially the end scene with the stand off between OJ, Emerald and Jean Jacket (the alien) like that was a stunning shot and being a direct show of the western theme. I’m gonna be forever pissed that I’ve only just seen this film now and forever regretting the fact that I never saw it in cinema. I need Keke pamper to play more queer roles cause I love her so much and she is so fucking good in this and I love who she knew they had to get non digital camera to get a shot of it. I really liked the attention to detail that Daniel Kaluuya did with OJ when he communicates with people he does it in the same manner he does the horses deepening his awkward demeanor to people and showing his deeper connection to animals and also how he figured out that, like horses, Jean Jacket is easy to spook with direct eye contact. Back to beautiful shots another favourite one I have is when a Jean Jacket is making a blood rain over the house like that was such a horror house shot. Sorry not sorry to my fellow white people but I’m so glad Jordan peele makes his main cast and focus black people cause white people in horror films have the survival instincts of a fucking fart which is shown in literally every horror film when the white character is making dumb decisions that have me shouting at my tv why tf they're doing that but the black character is making the rational decisions that have me at peace cause I know they’re doing the obvious right decision and it’s also shown in this cause that fuckass old white man did exactly what every white character does, something fucking dumb getting themselves killed and pissing me off how dumb they get. It’s also a massive common thing in horror films that the poc or gay characters are the first to die so I love in this that OJ and Emerald both survive not only as black characters but Emerald also being a Lesbian. I love that they made it so it wasn’t the typical aliens you see in sci-fi film that the ship they kept seeing was the alien itself and the look they went with for it was subtle and then gorgeous at the end when Jean Jacket transformed into the massive ‘biblical angel’ look. I don’t blame Gordy for snapping I’m always on the animals side against humans in every situation.
