ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE. YES give me Superman whose greatest strength is his humanity and care. Give me average-joes doing their best ma and pa Kent. GIVE ME MR. TERRIFIC WHO TEACHES LITTLE NERDY KIDS TO EMBRACE WHAT MAKES THEM WEIRD!!!! (And more Mr. Terrific in general). Give me extremely capable Hawkgirl. GIVE ME COMIC-ACCURATE SUPERGIRL (for her short time on screen at least). Give me KRYPTO!!!! Give me extremely skilled journalist Lois Lane!!!! This is a Superman who takes the time to hug scared kids, to save squirrels, to care for every life he encounters so so deeply, even the lives of those against him!!! This is a hero who doesn’t thrive off of power, but off of a desire to do what is best for everyone around him. Superman who stands for HUMANITY and doing good above all else. Kindness is cool, journalism is important, everyone deserves to have someone in their corner to help them, and we all have the power to be that person for someone in our lives!! I’ve been so depressed recently, and since watching this movie I haven’t been able to stop smiling. I went to the gym for the first time in weeks. I will be the best me I can be for the people around me because we all owe each other that!!! Most inspiring movie maybe ever.
