The Shining

The Shining is a classic, The Shining is great, The Shining has a very confusing ending. These are things we all know already. Anyway, The Shining is a brilliant film based off a Stephen King novel (but it changes many things from the original story. Also it feels like Stephen King made everything, The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, It, The Running Man, etc) that has great everything, great horror, great characters, great acting (Jack Nicholson shouldve gotten that Academy Award), great story and of course, one of the most iconix scenes ever (HERE'S JOHNNY!) The Shining's only real flaw is that it doesnt go into depth for Danny or Wendy but they are still great characters so doesnt change anything. Summary: Its scary, its well written, its iconic, its funny, it has a good conlusion, it has a great villain (one of my favourites), its a great film.
