A Clockwork Orange

I read the book of “A clockwork orange” at my summer camp when I was going into 7th grade and I remember my camp counselor’s thinking I was either the most messed up kid or a really intelligent kid. When I got back to school my english teacher made us present our favorite book of the summer and I stood up and said “A Clockwork Orange”  while all of the other kids were making up books they hadn’t read so I panicked and tried to explain to the teacher that I actually knew what it was about, and I was just a sophisticated reader but that made it sound worse so I had a really rough time in 7th grade english. And thinking back I probably was a bit messed up.  Eighth grade English was good though.
