Oh my god. Oh my god This is impossibly clever. This isnt pro-war. This isnt the usual anti war repeated message. This isnt USA military propoganda. It would've been five stars if the ending was slightly different where it just showed them going back to their normal lives and that was it. I started crying when I saw Jamie Foxx stocking shelves But Jesus Christ. Its horrifying. The disgusting masculinity, the propaganda theyre fed, unable to escape the fact they are "Jarheads". I never like war films . But this was done so stupidly well. oh my god. OH MY GODDDDDD I COULDNT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH There's so much depth to this??!!! It was shot BEAUTIFULLY. IT WAS GORGEOUS. The characters were ALL DEPTHFUL AND UNIQUE AND INDIVIDUAL??!!!!! ARGHHH What are the criticisms about pacing??? It was perfect all the way through ???? Isn't that the point also??? The fact they're training, going through this quic, brutal snappy training preparing for something big, then the drag out represents how it never comes? Bye is this waiting for Godot..... Anyways GENUINELY ITS FANTASTIC
