Midsommar

Starting October off with a BANGER  I had high expectations going into this and it did NOT disappoint This is a slow burn and psychological and has a deeper meaning  THIS WAS SO AESTHETICALLY PLEASING every single shot is worth admiring The music was beautiful but unsettling and added to the horror of the whole movie The whole thing was so beautiful but so disturbing and unsettling This did increase my heart rate at some points and always gave me a feeling of terror and sense of impending doom The minor characters did leave an impression and I enjoyed their presence throughout the movie Once the first ritual takes place which is a huge turning point for the movie shocks you and prepares you for what’s next and Dani isn’t the same after it it’s just perfection The dance scene with the flowers was the most beautiful scene in the entire movie and I loved it 🤌 I also made the wise choice not to watch this with family I am now much more excited to watch Hereditary I love this and something about it just makes me love it as much as I do  Perfect. Absolute cinema. (I’ve been meaning to watch this for 5 years)
