Wreck-It Ralph

I once heard that this is the* Toy Story of the modern generation, and I can totally see it. I have nothing but praise for this animation. *I think this movie is absolutely brilliant, and one of me biggest surprises of the decade. First of all, the plot is so creative. Kudos to whatever mind dreamed this up, because every slice of world building is so fresh and unique. Second of all, the gaming references work great. However, Wreck-It Ralph isn't just a nostalgia overload with little substance. It really takes time with these lead characters, and you truly start to invest in them. I absolutely love the twists and turns this script makes, and the conclusion is so satisfying, and ties up all loose ends. I really have no flaws for this film. It's very close to perfect, but not quite there. Score: 95%
