I was a bit hesitant going into this since May-December relationships are a controversial subject matter and can easily be depicted in a problematic manner. But I was pleasantly surprised with how this film handled the central dynamic in an introspective approach. These are two people at very different chapters of life, and their shared loneliness is what brings them together. They have their own doubts and insecurities regarding their future, but ultimately prioritize the passion they have for one another.
