> *If I may, so long as the woman you love lives, and lives for you, all the privilege I claim for my own sex, and it is not a very enviable one; you need not covet it, is that of loving longest when all hope is gone.*

> *My dearest Emma, for dearest you will always be, my dearest, most beloved Emma, tell me at once. I cannot make speeches. If I… if i loved you less then I might be able to talk about it more. * to find myself knowing almost every cast members from separate projects added to my enjoyment of this retelling of jane austens novel. this retelling changed how i saw the story *(when i read emma i saw it as bored young people making their lives harder for no true reason)*. yes emma is still filled with her own… pride and prejudice… but as the movie went on i was rooting for emma to change. and god mia goth as harriet was not what i expected but my god she nailed it. my heart hurt for harriet in the book and it cried for her during the film. i love you harriet.

> *And then I was 19. And then I was 20. I felt like one of those dolls asleep in the supermarket. Stuffed. And then I was 21. Like chapters skipped over on a DVD. I told myself, "This isn't normal. This isn't normal. This isn't how life is supposed to feel.*everything about it feels like being trapped in a life that isn’t yours, watching yourself from the outside, waiting for something to break you free. > *There is still time. *… like all the time i have spent knowing and not living. it understands what it means to be haunted by the person you are supposed to be. i am still crying. because i never stopped knowing. because there is still time.

> “Try laughing. Then whatever scares you will you go away,”this movie makes me want to run in a field and pick daises just pure whimsy
