Chinatown

Wow haven’t been that hooked into a film in while. Especially for a film to not action packed, I was locked in. So well written, it’s fulled with twists but it didn’t feel excessive at all. It made you feel like a cat running after a string, constantly believing the mystery was progressing just for another layer. Then it peaks and peaks, and just when you think you have a positive resolution you get slammed at the end. The end is so sudden it just happens, amazing man. This is more that 50 years old and it’s truly timeless.
