Decoder

I didn't really follow what the hell was going on but as a series of moving images and sounds this film was oddly captivating. I guess I just really enjoyed the vibe of whatever lo-fi shit was going on, the weird colours and soundtrack, 80s West Berlin, that arcade sequence with the footage of war stuff going on, the riots, William S. Burroughs. Just an oddly cool and mesmerising thing. Weirdest film in my Birth Year Challenge so far, and I hope there's more weird shit on the way.
