Melinda reminded me a lot of myself. Getting quieter over time, not talking much because of anxiety, not having many friends and slowly losing the ones i did have. I also went through bullying in school. Like her, i found comfort in drawing The scene with the history teacher getting mad at her for staying silent, hit hard. It reminded me of how some teachers would pick on students like me, making things worse instead of understanding us. It's a powerful movie that i relate to except for the partying and especially the sexual assault part, which was heartbreaking💔
