who wouldve thought that audrey hepburn was the very first to sing moon river. ive always loved frank sinatra's but knowing that changed my life omg. why be a drifter alone when u can be drifters w ur kindred spirit? the song makes much more sense to me now. holly n her detached mindset of not wanting to own anything or be owned by anyone, finally learns to accept that the only "cage" she was in was the cage she built herself. thats actually so deep. but like why did i think she was actually gonna have breakfast at a diner..... overall so beautiful. 60's new york; pearls, dresses n glamourous parties that i would never stfu abt. bring back this era plssss im so envy. why dont ppl speak mid-atlantic accent in films anymore? it rlly scratches the brain. looking forward to more classic hollywood films!!
