Detachment

right before this movie, i had just watched The Pianist for the first time and unfortunately got disappointed by it as I was told it was an incredible movie so i was a little wary to watch another movie with adrien brody but my goodness… this movie rocked my view of teachers, not that ive ever disrespected them or been a bad student, but after this movie, i just wanted to hug every one of my teachers and wish them the best in life. it’s a terrifying reality how students’ mental health can deteriorate when unsupported and it’s what we notice in this movie.
