real cinema. (p.s. the standouts for me are the performances and cinematography. since they announced the casting i knew the main trio would be amazing but they still wowed me. the ability of mike faist and josh o’connor to disappear into a role is too tier and zendaya’s face acting?? just excellent. the filmmaking in the tennis games are so interesting to me too. watching a ball fly through the court over and over again would have gotten boring after a while but they still managed to make it interesting with all the different angles and creative shots they did. also kudos to the hair and makeup team because all three of them aged up and aged down almost flawlessly, which really helped with the many time jumps.)
