Dune: Part Two

one thing about me, i love a movie or show that was extensive lore and history predated before said movie or show even starts. for a movie with so many things going on, and given how complex the book (i haven’t read it but heard that it’s A LOT), i think they really did a good job keeping the world building and all the lore easily understood—although i only wish they better explained the bene gesserit and their (what basically is) eugenics program. i find it so interesting and it’s the reason for the entire plot, but i only fully understood it after i looked some things up afterwards. kudos as well because it’s a long movie but i didn’t feel that it was dragged out at all. again, visually stunning, but no surprise there. the effects look so real and in-universe, idk how to explain it. but just an absolutely beautiful film <3
