Admittedly a weird choice to watch while the trick r treaters were out in full force but the heart wants what the heart wants! All of De Palma’s trademarks are on full display here, employing the camera first as a voyeur and finally as a participant bearing witness to the agony and the ecstasy that unfolds in the school gym. That final sequence with Sue at the lot of Carrie’s former house of horrors is an all time favourite.
