The Batman

First of all, I should say that this isn’t my favorite Batman movie, but it’s the most accurate one we’ve gotten so far. I’ve watched all the Batman movies from 1989 to 2022, and I think this is the only one that truly reflects Batman’s title as “the world’s greatest detective.” I can confidently say it’s one of the most faithful to the comics. I also liked the fact that it focuses more on Batman rather than Bruce Wayne. As for the actor—Robert Pattinson—I think he was genuinely a great choice. The smudged black eyeshadow might seem funny at first, but I think it actually added depth to the character. I believe he portrayed Batman’s personality and seriousness really well. I also really liked the Riddler’s character. His madness was definitely shown successfully and was well-acted. The fight scenes didn’t satisfy me as much as Nolan’s Batman trilogy, but I can still say they were definitely well done.
